Riverside Park - Linda's Lawn (map)
Though we've done quite a few Central Park Meetups over the years, I thought we'd check out a new spot that I hear great things about.
Linda's Lawn in Riverside Park is supposed to be a great, wide-open space featuring Willow trees and beautiful views. Sounds like a great spot to picnic and play!
Bring whatever you'd like to munch on as well as any games you have ... Frisbees, cards, volleyball, football, etc. Let's get outside and enjoy NYC in Spring!

yes,I saw the map,which I'm terrible at maps! wondering if theres a crosstown bus to take me to riverside drive? isnt that on the west side?

You can take the M66 which goes crosstown on 66th street. It will take you to West End Ave. If you're on 5th Ave, you can pick up the bus on the central park side of 5th between 66th & 67th.
