If you attended the ADKLN Holiday Party than you already know what an amazing space the Vault is. Luckily, they loved us too and have asked us back for more events! Hope to turn these into regular Wednesday Happy Hours/Networking events!
I actually saw this venue on the Travel Channel one day.
Check it out: "Under Broadway and Bleecker in downtown Manhattan is a sophisticated yet timeless gathering place refined for the modern day. This incarnation of the popular 1850s watering hole frequented by poet Walt Whitman carries on the tradition started by Charles Pfaff of serving only the finest drinks and food to guests in a true-to-New York establishment."
They have happy hour from 6:00 - 9:00 with some great drink specials.
$6 wine, $5 beer, $7 well and a specialty cocktail of the night along with food.
Take a look at their site below.
Also read this review I found on Examiner which will give you a great idea of the venue.

Also read this chunk of text from the review above since it offers tips on how to find this hidden bar!
"Unlike many of the current crop of hidden and semi-hidden bars, The Vault actually has a history as a bar, dating back to 1855 (when the larger space above was called Pfaff's). Mark Twain and poet Walt Whitman both sung of its praises (it was a beer hallĀ at 653 Broadway back then). Most recently the space held the cocktail-geek hotspot Woodson and Ford and the same team is behind the current incarnation.
The first thing you'll see as you approach the address is simply that: The number 643 above an otherwise unmarked black door by the Corner Shop Cafe. There is no "Pfaff's" (dubbed the birthplace of 19th century Bohemia) any more. Though there is a bouncer at the door, he is genial and helpful (a shared trait with the doorman at the new Silver Lining speakeasy in TriBeCa). Walk down the stairs, pull open the door marked with an ornate "V" and enter a comfortable, spacious venue with overstuffed leather couches, private party alcoves behind bricked archways, and a contemporary soundtrack. Gorgeous, corseted wait staff, a busy but gregarious bartender and the Vault's management staff are all on hand to make sure all is well and you are having a great time.
See you on the 22nd!
Bridget
You should get here if you're not!!! Weeeee
